Madoka and Sayaka meeting Mami.

Well guys, this is it D':
The last review that we will ever right for Madoka
OMG
Ever
Like
Never
NEVER EVER
^^ ayu pun
LOL anyways
Well we'll write our review of the movie
BUT
That's not out yet
So be sad

Sayaka -vs- Kyoko

~story~

Well, this is hard. Hmm..... Ok. Well... Uhm... Homura (best character ever BTW) transfers to the school that Madoka and Sayaka (and Mami :'D and Hitomi -_-) attend and they like totally become best friends and fight crime for just and live happily ever after. YAY. lolno They hate each other and slowly die off one by one. Madoka and Sayaka meet Mami and they learn about the happy totally lovely world of Magical Girls and then the next day they witness Mami getting her head eaten off by super ugly witch-dude and they learn that the life of Magical Girls is sucky and they turn all suicidal and depressed and it's no fun. Then Sayaka's love interest blows her off for a damn violin and she goes into depression mode and then Hitomi steals her (best friend award right there) and then Sayaka goes into psycho-crazy mode and dies and turns into a witch (ugly witch) and Kyoko sacrifices herself for no reason. Then we learn that Homura is a total badass that makes this series worth watching. Without Homura this series sucks. Then there is some time-traveling and time-bending and time-warping or something and then Madoka becomes god (OMG LIKE HARUHI) and the end. It's a lot more deep and drawn out than that but that's basically the jest of it. Yeah.

The silhouette Witch battle with Sayaka.

~art~

The art is really cutesy and fun which makes you think that this is going to be just a fun cute little series and then all of this dark depressing tragic suicidal life-ruining tear-jerking crap happens and you realize maybe it's not so cute. The Witch is very original but it's rather awkward and doesn't stay consistent throughout the series. :( Oh well at least it was interesting and after a few episodes it's not that bad.

Kyuube getting killed by Homura.

~sound~

Madoka has one of the greatest soundtrack's in an anime that I've heard. The music captures each scene perfectly and sounds very original and lovely and grand. The opening theme was pretty good while the ending theme was just painful to listen to. I seriously thought my ears were bleeding x__x None of the voices were too annoying and they all fit their characters fine.

~character~

Madoka. Where to begin with Madoka. In her original timeline she is this super cool timeline and an older-sister figure to Homura. However, in the current timelime she is just a little crybaby wimp that is willing to give in and sign the contract with Kyuube at every opportunity possible. Then she becomes god. O_O Read our episode 12 review for more detail onto how that complicated mess of crap happens. The real main character of this series is not Madoka (as the title of this series may have you believe). But it is Homura. She is time-traveling badass and she is possibly one of the coolest and most developed characters on the history of the Earth. She is such a great friend who has to put up with so much crap and I don't know anybody in the world who would be capable to doing that. Sayaka starts off as this person who is visiting her dying friend in the hospital and she makes wishes for other people and she wants to protect the world. But that plan goes out the window and she gets lost in despair and pain and sadness and eventually just dies and becomes a Witch. Kyoko's morals really need to be reevaluated. She doesn't care at all what happens to other people she just wants Grief Seeds. However, once she realizes she has been deceived by Kyuube she starts to get a little better. Mami is oblivious to the tragedy and the deception of Magical Girls but she is still a great character that is very easily lovable and it's really sad she dies off so early on. ): Kyuube. -__- No one likes him. Everybody wants him to die. The end.

Goddess Madoka

~overall~

This series receives an overall score of A-. No episode received less than a B- (which was only one episode if I remember correctly...) but that's because this show was just.. perfect O_O
